The project has focused on the development and launching of a training course at European level targeted mainly to the people responsible of organising the training, the administrative staff and trainers of adults n European countries.

The project seeks to provide the competences and skills required by the teaching staff in order to secure the quality of the training process and results, and to guarantee continuous improvement, considering the specific needs and requirements of adult training.

Results of the project

The eight participating entities, from Greece, Romania, Spain, Ireland, Germany and Lithuania, have worked together to design the curriculum and to elaborate the didactic contents and pedagogical resources of the course, ultimately set forth in a “Theoretical Manual” and a “Compendium of Pedagogical Resources”, the latter with case studies and exercises. Both are available in English, Spanish, Bulgarian and Lithuanian.

All these materials have been adapted and made available via an e-learning platform on www.qualityinlearning.net, the project’s website.

A CD-ROM has also been developed with the offline version of the training materials.

Two face-to-face courses and two online courses were delivered during the life of the project, in Bucarest and Athens and in Spain and Lithuania, respectively.

New European courses scheduled for 2008

During 2008, all the entities participating in the project shall organise similar courses in their respective countries. The participants may apply for funding from the Grundtvig Community Programme for registration, travel and maintenance costs. The course to be organised by Iturbrok is scheduled for 20-25 October 2008, in Pamplona.
